In regard to the media coverage of “Abandoning on the Purchase of 66 Units of the New F-16V Fighter Aircrafts from the United States of America”, the Air Force Command Headquarters has stated today (28^th) that the preparation and purchases of various weapons and equipment are integrated into the joint combat planning after the overall evaluation is complete subsequent to a general observation on the current threats and combat requirements.

The Air Force Command Headquarters has further pointed out that in order to continuously strengthen the air combat capability, any construction planning of the new generation of fighter aircrafts and troops for the Air Force that meet the air defense and combat requirements will be listed as evaluation options so as to strengthen the combat power.
